Sudanese community to rally in Dublin

Since 16th June, strikes and mass demonstrations continue against the regime in Khartoum. Students, workers and citizens went to the streets of Khartoum and other cities and towns and clashing with the Police, Security Forces and the Rabata militia.

University of Khartoum students, of the Medical Complex demonstrated today demanding the release of their detained colleagues. Many students had joined the protest.

Statement on Sudan Uprising

Sudanese Diaspora in Ireland are standing in O’Connell Street, on Saturday, 30th June 2012, at 1pm to support the revolution in their home land, towards the civil disobedience called in the country.

The opposition has called for civil disobedience in the whole country with vast demonstrations in all cities of Sudan on the 29th June after Friday’s prayers and have appealed to people to stay in the streets for the restoration of democracy, raped by Omer El Bashir and the ruling Islamists in a military- coup in 1989.
