The government and TD's are on their holidays as upto three hundred took part in a protest and carnival to highlight the jobs crisis in this country.

A number of excellent bands, such as Elevator, Control Freak, Noise Machine played to a diverse crowd of Emos, pensioners, hipsters, protestors, community activists, tourists and shoppers. Everyone enthralled, especially with the drummers playing as the drumkits were blown over in
the wind!

Although the crowd was small the sense of anger and urgency to help build for the many protests which will be taking place over the coming months. This includes the community demonstartion happening on September 29th, organised by SIPTU, IMPACT and Unite the Union.
