Tories and Nazis march against gay marriage in France

Author:

Report By Nichola Harvey. A right wing demonstration of around half a million people marched in Paris on Sunday January 13 January against gay marriage.

Equal marriage was a central pledge of Socialist Party president Francois Hollande in his election campaign last year. But it has come under sustained attack from the right.
Hollande’s government has already dropped other election policies, such as giving foreign citizens the right to vote.

Key ministers have pitched to the right as the government fails to deliver on its promise to stop job cuts or tax the rich.

TV3 at it again

Author:
Karl Gill

Tonight (august 29th) at 10pm TV3 will air “Irelands Bogus Beggars: Paul Connolly Investigates”. This is a program they showed last year and it fits in well with their attempt to be the Daily Mail of Irish television.

We have seen other poorly made “journalistic documentaries” from TV3 or 3e recently on Travellers and also Muslims. Coupled with the Joe Duffyesque show Midday they always manage to fall into the cheap, trivialisation, crap of Irish television.
