This coming Friday, a number of musicians are performing at a free gig in Ballymun to kick of a local campaign to reverse the reductionss in Social Welfare, and other cuts.

While the banks were
given handouts to the tune of €12 billion the growing number of unemployed face
cutbacks. The Jobseekers Benefit/Allowance have been cut to €196/week from 1st
January. Also those on Disability or Carer’s Allowance have had the same cuts.
